For Onyx lovers. Decorated with really small, white freshwater pearls. Quite a delicate pair and a lot of patience required in the process.

Merry Christmas

To my many wonderful friends out there, wishing you a year's of joy, peace and surprises ahead. I am recovering from whatever that made me tired and worn out, and on my way back to posting something up again. Thank you for your many emails/sms. I really do hope that I can use the new stones I acquired soon.

This year no turkey/ham/parties for me. Just stay at home and rest, preparing myself physically and mentally for the new year.

May God's peace and comfort be with us always :)

Rose Necklace $ 50

Well I don't have anything to post for the time being, but my friend C does! I am sure you will like this necklace made by her. It is a limited design as some materials might be out of stock already.

The rose in the middle is synthetic, from Japan, and so are the two clay leaves. Other beads are Garnet, Swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls, cherry quartz and a shell bead. Necklace is in 925 silver.

Back from Korea

Annyong-haseyo!!! I am back!

Missed Singapore terribly because it was so cold and my skin was so dry! I had flu for the first few days and the coach rides were dizzy. I couldn't get used to the food which consisted of steamboats with lots of toufu and cabbage, but little meat and no fish (as they were very costly there). Too much kimchi too. I just wanted something hot in that weather, but we were served with nice, hot rice but cold dishes with lots of different types of 'kimchi's. I liked kimchi before I went Korea but now at the thought of it, I lose my appetite.

I am not saying that Korea is terrible place! It is a place with unique culture and history and I appreciated all the places that I was brought to :) Just that food wise, it's too blend for someone like me used to meat and and fish.

Korean women were very very attractive! They all have small faces and fair skin. Haha I felt so out there wearing lots of thermal clothing and puffy jackets and sports shoes!

And the accessories there were SO PRETTY too! The price is like SG$ 60++ and you can get a good pair of earrings. I was totally inspired by the designs I saw.

The price of the semiprecious stones were MUCH cheaper that in Singapore! But when I managed to find that wonderful place with lots of stones, it was already the last day and I only had about SG$500 cash left with me and also an hour's of time. I spent all that money on stones in 30mins. And I suspected that it could have been even cheaper.

I hated myself for not having more cash with me. All the shops did not accept credit cards.:(

In Korea, I was thinking of slowing down my beading business. I realised how tired I had been, though extremely enriched and satisfied by this hobby. I need to take good care of myself and also to start a family. If God allows, maybe one day I will be able to do this full time while taking care of my family properly. :)

Haha but while splurging on those gemstones I totally forgot about all that! Well let's see how it goes. Do give me time to post up new designs, for my priority is to rush and complete the orders asap.

My Vacation

Ok finally leaving after a week's intensive jewelry-making. I didn't manage to meet some deadlines and I am sincerely sorry! :( I will try my best when I come back. Will first finish/start on Yafen, Joyce, Tracey, Heather and Shirley's orders. As for the others, do let me know which items are more urgent for Christmas and I will try to work them first. We might have to meet at Bukit Batok as I probably have very little time to travel. Thanks in advance for your usual tolerence and patience!

Have a good holiday everyone! :)

Bluebells $ 18

Another delicate pair of earrings made by friend C. Small blue cluster with two tiny pearls dangling below.

Hm...couldn't remember what the blue beads are of, probably agate. Size of earrings is quite small and dainty.

Calmness Earrings $ 18

Another creation by my good friend C.

White shell beads with a rutilated quartz. Simple and clean cut.
