Proud Collection of Earrings :)

Peaches N Cream Earrings $ 25

A very sweet and cheerful piece :)

Peach-coloured pearls bundled with peridot, connected by peach-coloured coral, and finally a peach-shaped white pearl! There is a grove (or love ring) in the middle of the pearls and looks like a nectarine! :) Cute right?

Can't promise that I can find such unique white pearls for every pair though :(

Evergreen $ 22

If you like the colour of peridot, you will like this! Peridot wired with crystal quartz, connected by a white pearl, and dangling at the bottom is a piece of citrine.

I think that this is a very versatile piece as the colours are very neutral.

Rose Bud $ 26

If you like rose quartz, this is the one for you - beautiful longish rose quartz in tear-drop shape dangling below a clear aquamarine, and right at the top are round moon-stone beads (white and translucent) wired casually with shiny red pearls.

The slight tint of pink and red makes it appropriate to go with Chinese New Year clothes, though I think it looks elegant enough to be worn anytime. :)

Silver Bells $ 17

These dangling earrings are quite small actually, about 2.5 cm in length (excluding hook). From the top: faceted peridot, white pearls bundled with citrine (which the camera failed to capture at this angle), and a silver pearl.

Freesia $ 22

I will be making many pairs of 'womanly', dangling earrings with wiring techniques. This is the first pair for turqoise lovers. Small pearls wired up casually with a clear aquamarine, and the amethyst in the middle enhances the bluish-purple tone. Right at the bottom is a nice round turqoise.

Mabel's Garden - Specially designed for Victor :)

I promised that I will come back with a breakthrough - isn't THIS a breakthrough! All thanks to Victor who is sourcing for a wonderful gift for Mabel on her birthday on the 28th Dec. I have been dying to make something more extensive like these with lots of wire-work.

In this piece, I have used 8 types of stones - Tourmaline (wow), crystal quartz, peridot (in the clover), amethyst, citrine, yellow-jade, Mother-of-Pearl and pearls!

This is one of the very few limited editions as materials are pretty expensive. I will be passing this set to Victor tomorrow, sorry gals, you probably don't get to see the real thing (which looks better in reality)! :)

Merry Christmas!!!

Hohoho...Merry Christmas to everyone :) Eat more turkey and ham! May you have a wonderful time with your loved ones. More importantly, hope that you will find the TRUE meaning of CHRISTmas! :)

At the same time, I wish to thank all of you out there for your continuous support and encouragement! :) You have made my hobby a very special one and I am even more proud of it than ever. It has been a pleasure to have met so many nice people and also to catch up with old friends through this hobby. I look forward to creating even better jewelry, and with more breakthrough. Cheers!

-ceased- Gloria (Bracelet) $ 32

Gloria choker has been very popular (among both brides-to-be and ladies with functions to attend), and so are the mismatched Gloria earrings! This time round I have made a bracelet in case you love Gloria series but seldom wear chokers or earrings! :)

Simple Mismatched Earrings $ 20

This pair of earrings are created for those who wants to own a pair of mismatched earrings and yet doesn't want something too exciting :)

Since it's supposed to be simple, I have decided to use better stones with better cutting and clarity, and nothing else to distract their beauty. What you see here is tear-drop garnet (maroon) and rose quartz. Sweet and easy to wear.

Aventurine Beauty (Earrings) $ 16

This pair of earrings are created to match an earlier one. Big chunky Aventurine with both clear and green Swarovski crystals to brighten up :)

Lady in Black (Choker Length) $ 65

Another creation using faceted Onyx. Even the smallest bead is onyx. This piece is very glittery and eye-catching. Chain is NOT gold-plated (gold-plated will rust) but 14K gold-filled chain which has 100 times more gold content. It will not rust or fade in colour if handled with care.

If you find yourself spending $$ on accessories made with Swarovski crystals (synthetic crystals), then you probably find this a good buy! Pay the same price for semiprecious stones! The onyx beads are carefully joined up with lots of wiring work. Look fabulous and mysterious with a low V-neck dress!

This piece is readily available and is ready for collection.

- Ceased - Amazing Grace $ 32

This is a very uncomplicated and elegant necklace made by carefully stringing good-quality pearls and fixing them at the right places. Brings out the 'gracefulness' and lustre of pearls. The way I arrange it in the photo makes it look longer than it really is :)

For sophisticated ladies and also those who wear minimum accessories.

Honey Bee $ 16

Wow I didn't know that black is so popular! This is designed for Stella, something simple and precious to go with her shoes! Contrasting colours of black Onyx, Yellow Jade and peridot. All stones are faceted (cut to produce shine).

Nellie's Blue Lace Mismatched Earrings $ 32

This is one of the Christmas orders I enjoyed working on most, because Nellie simply stated her colour preference for her 6 pairs of earrings and left me to design the earrings for her :) I enjoyed spending time matching colours and exploring different designs.

Baby-blue Blue Lace Agate with Iolite and heart-shape Garnet teamed together with 925 Silver chain. The whole thing is very sparkling due to the clarity of the iolite and garnet. Can wear to grand functions too! Another proud creation :)

My favourite Desserts :p

These are beautiful pictures of what I ate during my stay in Taiwan. It is currently the strawberry season and there are lots of bakeries selling very exquisite-looking pastries with fresh big strawberries on them. I wish I had taken more pics.

The pink, round one is actually strawberry Daifuku (or 草莓大福)and when you bite into it you will be delighted to find fresh whipped cream (or sometimes strawberry musse) surrounding an inner layer of spong cake, and in the middle of everything is a couple of big juicy strawberries! Yummy! :)

You can find this Daifuku thingy in most pastry shops, refrigerated. It is not uncommon to find Kiwi Daifuku or Peach Daifuku. And the packaging is fantastic. That's why I say that Taiwan is very Jap-like in many aspects.

Oh yes when you go Taiwan you must definitely visit the bakeries - wa lao what is Bread Talk compared to the bakeries there!? Whenever I went into one I always couldn't resist the bread and cakes and end up buying kilograms of pastries that can feed an army. They are quite cheap really :)

Then there's this thing that you shouldn't miss - mua chee. I ate tonnes of mua chee there. I am definitely not referring to the one you buy and eat with peanut powder - I think Taiwanese eat much better mua chees. There are even shops selling just mua chees of all sorts. But too bad can;t bring back, cos they need to be refrigerated.

Pink Shadow $ 18

Real Onyx! These are quite costly as the size of the onyx is bigger and the stone is faceted. Black goes perfect with pink (pearls). Too bad that the shine from both the onyx and pearls don't quite show, but guaranteed that the real thing looks much better.

Well....which is the shadow? Go figure! :)

Laguna Isle $ 16

I am finally creating something with Turqoise! Turqoise is also the birthday stone for Dec.

Earring dangles about 3cm below ear. At the end of it is a very shiny Aquamarine stone. A very delicate and 'womanly' earring that can be worn casually.

Hey if you have good ideas for names for anything in Turqoise, please email me! I also have a bunch of nice pistacho-green turqoise beads, but still waiting for inspiration and opportunity to set them in the right designs.

Thanks to Stella for the wonderful name! :)

Shui 水 Earrings $ 35

I bought a few pieces of beautiful Korean Jade from Taiwan, these are one of the best :)

The jade pieces are colour enhanced and the shape of the jade is simply fantastic, with an oriental look. I spent some time deciding whether to team it with other stones because they are beautiful already on their own. The well-cut and almost-clear rose quartz (pale pink) complements it really well. Tear-drop shaped and shiny. Can't help but to feel that they look like one of those Chinese knots, and thus the Chinese name.

One piece only. Can't bear to part with it. Should have bought more :(

Orchid (Earrings)

This pair of earrings is customised for Annie to go with her Ladies' Night Out :) Unintentionally it looks like a pair of white Orchids!

Fairy Tale (Earrings) $ 32

These earrings are just right for you if you love purplish-blue shades. Amethyst (purple), Iolite (blue), Crystal Quartz (transparent) and purple pearls are set in 925 silver. Very sweet and elegant.

Onyx Earrings, 14K White/Yellow Gold $ 60 / pair

These earrings are of a Japanese brand, Vielle by Minami Aoyama. These are very Victorian. Real 14 K gold.

Profit Margin = $0. Selling at purchased price.

Bracelet with Tiny Gold and Silve Hearts ($ 35)

Poor photography...:( From the same shop as the golden apple chains, this is another yellow and white gold plated delicate piece. 5 tiny heart charms, each of ~ 5 mm dangling by the chain.

One-piece only.

Rose Gold Apple Bracelets ($ 32), Anklet ($ 32), Earrings ($22)

The apples are really very tiny (about 6mm)and delicate. Rose-gold plated on 925 silver. Quality is superb, compared to plating quality of other countries. Also, rose-gold jewelry is still quite rare.

Shop lady assured me that it's ok to wear it to bathe, but perfume and chemicals should be avoided.

Each item comes in only 2 pieces. Each piece is originally priced at over S$65 but price is almost half due to Christmas sale.

I am back!

Yes I am back after a long long break! Feeling recharged and creative again. I have lots of new ideas for new designs. The challenge now is to find time to quickly realise the concepts.

As Christmas is coming in a week's time, during my visit to Taiwan (after NZ) I have bought some fantastic jewelry made in Japan to tide over this season, just in case you decide to buy a special Christmas present for yourself! :) Hope to post them up by this evening.

Taiwan is a great place to get good-quality Japanese goods at a reasonable price...shoes, bags, clothes, jewelry etc. I go there almost every year to stock up on shoes and jewelry. You definitely can't get the same things in Singapore.

If you intend to go Taiwan, I will be glad to tell you what to buy and where to buy them :)
