This is another pair of clean-cut looking earrings. These smooth Prehnite drops had appeared on my blog sometime back, and it's so refreshing to see them again. Gorgeous when paired with these delicate Bali Sterling Silver chandelier.

I have decided to use small nuggets to make this simple pair of earrings. These are coarsely cut chunks with brilliant colours, especially the Amethyst!

Other stones: Iolite, Smoky Quartz and Peridot. These hang from a goldfilled chain and the earwire is 925 silver, as usual. Note that the Smoky Quartz in the other two pairs have shapes different from this pair posted here.

Whatever I can donate is really insignificant to how much more the people in China need. Therefore, I am asking you to reach out to these people who deserve to live another day just like us. Imagine, having to cope with their basic needs alongside with the loss of their immediate, loved ones.

And I believe that it is in everyone of us the compassion to help each other without asking anything in return.

Just send me a copy of the receipt (scanned hardcopy of Red Cross receipt, or printscreen softcopy of online donation made via UOB internet banking) and I will send you a pair of Twinkle II, so that I am also contributing to the donation in another way.

Donation must be made after May 17 (Sat) 1.30am, with your name clearly stated on the receipt or documents of acknowledgement.

I have been saving these earrings and now this is definitely the right time to post them up. Hard-to-find carved Citrine flowers (almost flawless) with top-grade marquise-cut Peridot. The wires are goldfilled, like the ear wires.

I only have 6 pairs, but if the response is good, I promise I will post up something else I can offer for similar donations.

Earthquake in China - can't stop crying.

抢救人员发现她的时候，她已经死了，是被垮塌下来的房子压死的，透过那一堆废墟的的间隙可以看到她死亡的姿势，双膝跪著，整个上身向前匍匐著，双手扶著地支撑著身体，有些象古人行跪拜礼，只是身体被压的变形了，看上去有些诡异。救援人员从废墟的空隙伸手进去确认了她已经死亡，又在冲著废墟喊了几声，用撬棍在在砖头上敲了几下，里面没有任何回应。当人群走到下一个建筑物的时候，救援队长忽然往回跑，边跑变喊“快过来”。他又来到她的尸体前，费力的把手伸进女人的身子底下摸索，他摸了几下高声的喊“有人，有个孩子 ，还活著”。

经过一番努力，人们小心的把挡著她的废墟清理开，在她的身体下面躺著她的孩子，包在一个红色带黄花的小被子里，大概有3、4个月大，因为母亲身体庇护著，他毫发未伤，抱出来的时候，他还安静的睡著，他熟睡的脸让所有在场的人感到很温暖。 　　

随行的医生过来解开被子准备做些检查，发现有一部手机塞在被子里，医生下意识的看了下手机屏幕，发现屏幕上是一条已经写好的短信“亲爱的宝贝，如果你能活著，一定要记住我爱你”，看惯了生离死别的医生却在这一刻落泪了，手机传递著，每个看到短信的人都落泪了。

I was totally amazed and I love these earthly-shaded colours. I binded the Aquamarine, Mandarin Garnet, green Chalcedony and a Chrysophase briolette (at the end) together in the same style as in A Girl's Kaleidoscope posted earlier.

Irene asked me to make a brooch and I decided to try out one (not exactly Irene's proposed colour scheme). And now I am so pleased with it that I have decided that it's a gift to my mum when she gets back to town!

LOTS of different semiprecious elements from the earth and sea. I just couldn't stop taking pictures of this brooch. I am pricing it for the no. of man-hours spent more than for the materials.

You have a choice of deep red carved flower, plum (as shown), yellow (yellow jade) or pink (rose quartz). The colours of my text here are not representable of the actual colours of the carved roses. Also, flower arrangement of each piece may vary slightly.

These are genuine Ruby! (Precious gems: Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. The others are semiprecious.) And I am really happy to be doing more wiring work recently.

These oh-so-Sweet looking earrings are also made up of green Tourmaline, gold freshwater pearl and a pink coral. I have been waiting to come across these ruby nuggets for SO LONG!

I have 3 pieces of these longish, smooth Chalcedony, 2 of which are matching. So that means I can make EITHER 1 pendant and 1 pair of similar earrings, OR 3 individual pendants. I will not be making the earrings to take any pictures unless someone decides to buy them. Earrings will be at $53.

Other than Chalcedony, there are rainbow moonstone briolettes of various sizes, as well as a purple carved Amethyst flower.

Looks good against the skin as shown, and goes very well with 16inch necklaces but it's really up to you if you like longer necklaces.

Sorry I have to price these gems this much for good reasons. Over here, I am not stingy with the materials I use.

These Prehnite pears are very green, and many people know that pink Tourmaline is the most precious in the Tourmaline spectrum, let alone clear Tourmaline with a brilliant pink. These Madagascar Rose Quartz gems are clear and with a pale pink while the Peridot hearts are very cheery with good clarity.

Lever-back ear wires are goldfilled.

These gems come in a velvet pouch. Exclusively for girls who want 'bestest' earrings!

These are VERY GORGEOUS! Again one of my proudest creations. Just couldn't stop taking pictures of them :))) These stones are SO CLEAR!!!

I can assure you that each piece is made with the greatest care and patience. Sometimes these beads crack when the wire is tied around them and become unusable.
