Mother-in-law

On the chartered bus from Singapore Casket to CCK Christian Cemetry, a lady stranger sitting in front of me couldn't stop crying. At one point, she turned around and told my husband that it was our Mum who had encouraged her, shared experience with her and removed her fears for her own bone-marrow transplant 4 years ago. Since then, she had often chatted over the phone with Mum and they became good friends. She said she was very grateful to Mum for her continuous encouragement, and she admired Mum's courage and strength displayed in the whole Leukemia treatment process tremendously.

This was Mother-in-law - simple, kind, optimistc, courageous and trusting the Lord wholeheartedly.

Our dear Mum passed away peacefully on 24 July 11.30pm, after 5 years of battling with Leukemia.

The set of pliers I have been using was a gift from her 4 years back. She taught me many basic skills of beading. I really miss her.

Lava $ 39 Exclusively ONE piece only SOLD

Jade flower is back!

I specially bought this strand of Agate to go with it. Again, I am pricing it to cover cost and postage only. I arranged these elongated Agate pieces from lighter shades to darker ones, and arranged the flower jade to be among the darker pieces for contrast. These Agate pieces are very lustrous and glows from within. Again, you can see the natural patterns in the Agate.

There is an extension chain at one end of the necklace so the length is adjustable.

Agate Elliottiana $ 32 ONE PIECE SOLD

I just HAD to buy these lovely petals! The curves are so pretty and the natural lines of Agate are very clear.

Again for Yum and Zee to view.

Agate Fritti ONE PIECE - SOLD

For Yum and Zee to view :)

I couldn't make out whether this is Carnelian or Agate, but anyway, Carnelian is also part of the Agate family. Two different shades of Agate in deep red/orange with pink freshwater pearls.

Honey Melon $ 48 for a week, $ 52 then after

An ultra-sweet pair of earrings that is a must-have! Green, faceted Prehnite with Moonstones and peach freshwater pearls. I have used the same oxidised floral earwires as in Olive Oyl and Evening Plumrose. If you like, you can ask for silver leverback earwires instead.

Palette of Colours III $ 47 for a week, $ 52 then after

I did something silly with the photos that made them lost their resolution! These pics definitely don't do justice to the actual earrings.

I miss my previous 2 versions of Palette and have always been wanting to make more. Natural Rock Crystal, Iolite, natural Chalcedony, Peridot and silver freshwater pearls make up this elegant pair. Leverback earwires are 925 silver.

Olive Oyl $ 23

This pair of SWEET SWEET SWEET earrings remind me so much of either Olive Oyl (wife of Popeye the Sailor Man)!!!
Smoothly polished black Onyx drops with red coral hanging on OXIDISED (on purpose, not by me) sterling silver floral earwires.
Wear these on a blue-jeans-white-tee day!

Twinkle Bracelet $ 39 - $ 42 (Silver/Gold available, price depends on toggle)

The same stones used in Twinkle II earrings and Twinkle Necklace.

I have decided to make the bracelet in silver so you can see the different effects of silver and gold. Both necklace and bracelet can be made with either goldfilled or sterling silver chains. Personally I like goldfilled materials more because silver tarnishes more easily and requires frequent care.
The toggle (or the clasp) used is slightly different from those I used in earlier bracelets. Price will be $39 if you prefer the simpler kind in Butterfly Kisses, and anything from $40 to $42 for different toggles.
